I love gametrailers. If you like to hear about games and things go there i personally recommend it to anyone who loves podcasts (new thing called invisibewalls on the site).Its just a great site for video content and it has a great interface.

Recommended game sites that I use every day

I use many video game web sites everyday either to use them for news, previews or reviews.
I mostly use gamespot, ign, 1up, kotaku, and gametrailers. Some people only like to see videos of games for that you can use ign or gametrailers.Some want previews or reviews I would recommend ign although gamespot does them to. But the thing with gamespot is that they are slow and i find there web site hard to navigate and there previews are not interesting. For news kotaku is on top.Overall I have to say ign and gametrailers are on top but I would also like to see your opinions on things which web sites do you guys use.

The problem with shooters

The one main problem with shooters or fps or third person shooters is simply they dont have rpg elements in the game. By rpg elements I mean that there is not customizable guns or armour or even skills in shooters these days. I wonder why every awsome shooter like halo 3, cod 4, and gears of war dont they have RPG elements in them. Why cant I have my own weapons and armour. I do know that cod 4 has add this but it feels only half way there like why can't I change my armour or appearance. Why can't I change they way my character moves or how fast he/she moves. Sure gow, cod 4, and halo are great games but why can't they be even better with the rpg element in it, wouldn't you like to have you own armour and weapons in gears of war. Im not saying that shooters are bad but i am saying that they can be even better With a simple feature.

GTA games old targeting system

I have played gta 3, gta vice city and vice city stories. All I can say to those game are "there ok". The reason why this is is becasue of one thing, The combat or shooting. The previouse gta games have had really bad shooting gamplay.I cant stress enough how bad it was.

The automatic targeting system was horrible in every way. From the bad camera angles to just the feeling of it was bad. Some games like gears of war or cod make you feel like your shooting and make you feel like your are doing heavey damage to that person or ai. Gta games on the other hand do the opposite they make you feel bored like your doing nothing. Even the gta drive while shooting is also bad and I wish that with the upcomming game GTA 4 they fix these problems.

Now i have seen videos of gta being played and i have even seen the review of it on ign, (http://xbox360.ign.com/articles/869/869381p1.html). They review states that the shooting has been reworked and has been fixed with an added cover system. This has made my hopes go up and we will have to see on April 29 if this shooting sytem is a boom or a bust.
